ABOUT
The 1st Annual Gaming 4 Peace NBA 2K Invitational is a multi weekend online gaming tournament culminating in an in-person championship round played live at the LIFE Camp Game Changers Weekend at York College in Queens New York on April 6th, 2024. Here, gamers, activists, parents, teachers, students, and young people from across the country alike come together to use gaming to confront violence, mental health, lack of opportunity and investment in communities of color, and celebrate those working together to find solutions and create access points to creative pathways. With a $25,000 prize pool, this will be a direct incentive to encourage young people to leave the streets, and become aware of the opportunities provided by the gaming industry.

ONLINE QUALIFIERS DAY 1

Compete against other top gamers in Day 1 of intense qualifier gameplay, with a chance to advance to Day 2 of competetion.
ONLINE QUALIFIER DAY 2
MARCH 17
Compete against other top gamers in Day 2 of intense qualifier gameplay, with a chance to advance to the finals.
FINALS IN NYC
APRIL 6
NYC showdown! The finals will be in New York City. Top four gamers compete for the ultimate prize and their share of the $25K prize pool.
Prize Pool Breakdown
The following prizes will be awarded to each Player(s) based on their placement within the bracket at the conclusion of the tournament. The 1st Place winner will also select an Anti-Gun Violence Organization from their Homestate to receive a $2,500 donation.

Yes, the Gaming For Peace NBA 2K Invitational is free to enter.
To participate in the Gaming For Peace NBA 2K Invitational , you must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
Tournament date and time is subject to change at LIFE Camp’s sole discretion. In the event the tournament date or time is changed, you will be notified of the change via the Play One Up app and this website.
The Gaming For Peach tournament is supported on PS5 and Xbox X|S consoles ONLY! If you do not have access to a PS5 or Xbox X|S console, you will be automatically disqualified.
To change your account email, tap on the profile button at the bottom right of the Play One Up app. Then, select Settings, tap on Personal Details, and select your email address to update and save. Once completed, we strongly recommend completely closing and refreshing the app.
All prizes are the sole responsibility of LIFE Camp, Inc. to be provided and paid directly to the Prize Winners. After completion of the tournament, LIFE Camp, Inc. will contact Prize Winners and may require certain identification and tax information to be provided from Prize Winners before sending any prizes.
